Stargazing

Stargazing is a composition featuring an abstract view from space.14 intricate layers of plywood, painted in anthracite grey expose eye catching shadows and a dramatic negative space. Subtle gold leaf detailing pivot and complement one’s perspective to the depth and geometry. A feeling of hope, dreams and escapism is at the heart of this piece. The work is mounted on a colour matched grey backdrop and set in a 3D shadow box frame and gold slips. Glass is an optional feature for this piece. A mounting rail is fitted to the reverse and work is supplied with appropriate wall brackets for safe mounting. 115 W x 140 H x 7 D cm
