A Ship leaving the harbour is a commissioned wooden artwork piece made as a limited-edition corporate gift to say thank you to valued clients. This work depicts the saying ‘nothing ventured, nothing gained’ as the ancient ship leaves harbour in rough seas alongside a fitting quote from the client. This 3D relief sculpture is made using 6 individual intricate layers of birch plywood that are laser cut, etched and hand finished.
